Born and educated inKenya, I received Further Education and training in the UK, taking a Fine Art B.A. with the Open University. I achieved a Distinction in Fine Art during my teacher training studies and have been a full-time painter since retirement.

Previously, my work has been exhibited in places as far apart as Hitchin Museum (Hertfordshire), The Mediterranean Conference Centre (Valletta, Malta), and the headquarters of Heritage Malta (The Old University Building, Valletta). My work is in private collections in the UK, Canada, the USA and Malta, where one piece is the property of the Mediterranean Conference Centre, another piece is the property of the National Museum of Fine Arts (Valletta) and a third piece is the property of The Military and Hospitaller Order of St Lazarus of Jerusalem, whose world-wide headquarters is on Malta.

Since moving to live in Ireland I have worked to show my love of this land, with paintings ranging from the timeless solidity of the Burren's limestone pavement to the workers of the land itself, going about their daily lives in their own timeless way. In Ireland I have exhibited in Clare Museum, Ennis; in the Scariff Gallery; and in the Sweeny Gallery, Kilkee.

My most recent exhibition, in Clare Museum, Ennis, in  February and March 2022, was entitled "Nature's harmony". All of the work in that exhibition was done in oils on canvas.
